Spill The Beans Coffee Porter (ALDI) By @SpectreUK

Always on the lookout for interesting beers this one caught my eye in the local supermarket. The Great British Brewing Company produced this Spill The Beans Coffee Porter for ALDI. It was brewed with real coffee beans to produce a dark brown porter. On opening the 330ml bottle this 4.4% volume porter has a malted chocolate smell, which quickly mixes with undertones of sweet caramel malt, with a touch of raisins and liquorice.
This almost black porter has a deep creamy malt chocolate taste to start with, with an underlying heady fruity bitterness such as a taste of raisins and figs, and sweetness from the caramel malt followed by a strong coffee aftertaste. This is definitely a pudding beer to enjoy on it's own or with a dark chocolate dessert and perhaps a black coffee on the side. Oh, so self-indulgent. You'll probably want more than one!

Does it contain wheat 🌾?

It doesn't state that it is wheat free anywhere obvious, I'm afraid you'd need to check the bottle.
