I don’t buy a lot of Trail Mix products, I only picked this up because it was Cadbury and had a ‘new’ label that caught my eye. I can’t help it, the word ‘new’ is like a magnet to me. The point is that I don’t really know what other trail mixes are like, so the whole thing is a bit new to me. Inside the bag are nuts, dried fruit, and chocolate buttons, and the whole lot is dusted with cocoa. The cocoa powder dusting makes everything brown and look a bit dull and samey.
Some of the fruit bits are very small, to the extent that I was wondering where they could have gotten such a small currant or cranberry from. The nuts were okay; some were hard. The chocolate buttons were nice, but there weren’t that many.
Trail mix is meant for people hiking, and I only had a 10 minute walk to the park today, so I’m not the target market for the product. I’m also not converted, I’d rather have a bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk Fruit and Nut.
