This sounds like sweetness overload. If I was asked to name the sweetest soft drinks available, Dr Pepper and Cream Soda would be up there. Usually I like contrast, cola with citrus for example. This is sweetness and sweetness, but I had already bought the can before I thought all this through, so here we are, ready to try this strange concoction of a drink.
This Dr Pepper & Cream Soda is made with artificial sweeteners. I know this puts some people off. Also, it is an imported drink, so if you are in the UK and want to try it you might have to hunt it down. I poured the can into a glass and the dark drink had a lot of fizz. I gave it a sip and it was sweet. The Dr Pepper is particularly distinctive, but the cream soda element actually had quite a smooth finish. I was surprised as I hadn’t expected to like it, but the strange mix of flavours really grew on me and I found it quite refreshing. Sweet, yes, very sweet, but a good soft drink all the same.
