Galak Chocolat Blanc (A Taste of the States) By @SpectreUK

Galak Chocolat Blanc

Well, I've never tried French white chocolate before, so this is a first. Yes, it's Galak Chocolat Blanc or white chocolate by Nestle, but still I've noticed that different countries and cultures often have slightly different tastebuds. I feel a little adventurous here, not that I've been to France for many years. Although I promised Cinabar we'd go to Paris 25 years ago when we first met. The poor thing, she's put up with me this long and we still haven't been.

Galak Chocolat Blanc

Okay, so Galak Chocolat Blanc is just white chocolate made by Nestle, but unless I try it, I don't know if it'll be different. On first bite this Galak tasted pretty much like any white chocolate, mainly because it is white chocolate. I found myself looking around for a little bespectacled blonde kid wearing a cowboy outfit shouting "Milky Bars are on me!".

Although this Galak didn't fully taste like Nestle Milky Bar, it did taste reminiscent of that famous white chocolate bar. It just tasted more like a grown up version, less creamy, yet still moreish and it went rather well with a tub of vanilla ice cream. Having said that, I'm still a kid at heart, and would still prefer a Milky Bar, whilst avoiding any gunfire from the tiny sheriff.

Information on the wrapper; This 100g bar had 554 calories, with 19.5g of fat, 59.4g of sugar, and 0.28g of salt. Please see photograph for the ingredients.
