Trolli Sour Glowworms (Petrol Station) By @SpectreUK

Trolli Sour Glowworms

You never know what you're going to find in a local petrol garage mini supermarket. These Trolli Sour Glowworms were made by a German manufacturer. They were stated as Tutti Frutti flavoured sour jelly worms on the packet, I do usually like sour gummies, so I thought I'd pick up a bag after filling up my car. Lactose and gluten free, these Trolli Sour Glowworms have been a cult gummy sweet since the 1990s with their unique soft texture and fruity flavour. So I'm a little late to the party on these, however, we decided to split the 200g bag whilst watching TV last night. As you can see from the photograph these wiggly sour sugared Glowworms were two tone bright cheerful colours. As you can see from the Glowworm chart photograph they were fairly even in flavour amounts.

First off we tried the pink and blue coloured Glowworms. I initially thought the combined flavour was cherry and raspberry, but it was actually strawberry and grape. They had a nice squidgy texture, and were not too face twisty, but still had a decent sourness at the end, and were very flavoursome. The red and yellow flavour Glowworms were next for taste testing. Again they tasted pretty fruity, and I thought they were a combination of pineapple and raspberry, but they were actually cherry and lemon. Although I liked them, and more so than the pink and blue Glowworms. They were nice and sour, and in fact they were sour from the start right to the end. So things were picking up. The orange and green colour were next. I found them very citrus in flavour and could pick out the lime and orange flavour easily. These were my favourite and were sour at the beginning of tasting, and then the fruity citrus flavour kicked in. They may not have been as sour as the other two flavours of Glowworms, but were even more tasty and moreish. I reckon I'll have to pick up another bag of these Trolli Sour Glowworms next time I fill up my car.
