Walkers Max: Pizza Hut Texan BBQ Crisps (Asda) By @Cinabar

We have some sharing crisps, and, brace yourself, they are not a Christmas special! I think most of the bags in the Foodstuff Finds cupboard now are turkey flavours or pigs in blankets varieties, but today we wanted something different. These are part of the Pizza Hut range of crisps flavoured after pizzas, and we have Walkers Max Texan BBQ.

These crisps are in the Max range, which means they are slightly thicker cut and have deep crinkles to collect the seasoning. I gave them a try and found them to have a nice barbecue flavour. There was a hint of cheese too, which was nice. The flavours included tomato and spices and were good, but they weren’t as exciting as I thought they’d be. They were lacking a strong pizza flavour, and I felt the barbecue flavour could have been stronger, particularly for a ‘Max’ variety.

I felt these Walkers Max: Pizza Hut Texan BBQ Crisps were pleasant crisps, great for sharing, and had the sort of flavour that goes with most things. They aren’t something I would rush out to buy again, though. Besides, I still have the Christmas flavours to work through!
