This 6% in volume Green Path was produced by the Burnt Mill Brewery in Suffolk. Citra, Mosiac and Enigma hops were added for a tropical fruity West Coast style IPA. Low bitterness and a mild malted barley flavour were promised on the back of the can, with a dry finish.
Such a gorgeous tropical fruity hop aroma from opening the can took me back a bit. I had to pour this glorious deep golden IPA out and taste it immediately. The flavours of pineapple and guava tickled my palate to begin with, I could even detect a little passion fruit towards the end of the tropical fruity hop goodness.
Not too bitter on the hops, Green Path delivered its tropical fruity West Coast hit to begin with, sweet and mild malted barley followed with a dryness at the finish that left me wanting more and more. Perfect for washing down my tasty IKEA style meatballs.
