Nutella Ice Cream (Iceland) By @Cinabar

Nutella Ice Cream

I couldn’t resist picking up this Nutella Ice Cream from Iceland, the packaging alone caught my eye. It comes in a cute cardboard tub designed to look just like a proper Nutella jar, only bigger. It’s a fun nod to the iconic spread, and I love that it’s made from recyclable material too.

The tub suggests leaving the ice cream out for a few minutes before serving, but honestly, it wasn’t too hard to scoop even if you’re not patient. Inside, the ice cream is a full-on Nutella experience, rich chocolate and hazelnut flavour, with generous swirls of actual Nutella running through it. On top there’s a layer of Nutella that sets solid, almost like a thick chocolate shell, which might be why they recommend letting it soften a little before digging in.

The flavour is spot on. Every spoonful is pure Nutella heaven, creamy, nutty, chocolatey, and indulgent. The swirls of real Nutella make it extra sweet and moreish. It’s the kind of dessert that makes you feel like a big kid again, eating Nutella straight from the jar with a spoon. I went back for seconds, and I’ll definitely be buying another tub. This one’s a keeper.

Nutella Muffins (Morrisons) By @Cinabar

Nutella Muffins (Morrisons)

This is a twin pack of new Nutella Muffins, and as a long-time fan of nuts and chocolate, I couldn’t resist picking them up.

I spotted them in the freshly baked aisle at Morrisons. They come in branded bags and look very appealing, with their lovely golden colour showing through the packaging.

Once opened, I peeled back the paper wrapper and noticed my hands were a little greasy, which shows just how moist the sponge is. The flavour is mostly a sweet vanilla sponge, with a nice baked taste. There are light traces of Nutella at the edges, but the real star is the generous dollop in the centre. It’s packed with chocolate and hazelnut flavour, and it turns the muffin into a proper treat.

I’m definitely looking forward to enjoying the second one from the pack.

nutella croissant - frozen to bake at home - Iceland [@NLi10]

We used to get bake-at-home breakfast breads all the time, but our oven isn't great so we cut back - but I couldn't resist these.

As with all modern things I guess this an air-fryer sized pack, although how you'd fit all 4 in an average one is anyone's guess.

I do like the serving suggestion making it look like a picnic

We had these as a Sunday evening snacky-dinner so just had a decaf tea

They do need a little longer in the oven I think with ours to get to crispy perfection

But - the layers are still there and the flavours were great.  I'll want these again, but it's much easier to find a time to eat the plain ones

Nutella Biscuits - Gooey Centred Crunchy Snacks (by @NLi10)

These have been around a short while but I’ve managed to resist their charms. The latest biscuit craze does seem to be putting melty things in between two different sized biscuits - could they do a cheese version?

Here we have Nutella, the hazelnut version

With a lovely grainy biscuit base too

You get a decently weighty amount too - and they are pretty much all intact

Stylish too - with just enough goo

And even at English room temperature these are pretty melty.

A lovely gooey snack, and my preferred variety of these kind of things so far!

Nutella & Go (Woolworths 16/08/08)

Nutella & Go
Peel back the lid to find a selection of breadsticks and a good portion of Nutella. The Nutella serving doesn't go all the way down to the bottom of the container, but is still a generous portion - more then enough for the breadsticks.

The breadsticks have a nice slightly malted flavour and go well with the Nutella, my only criticism is that they are perhaps a little too crunchy. This product is about the Nutella, if you like it you'll love this snack!
