It states "Snacks beyond expectation" just underneath Mr Filbert's on the packet. I've eaten plenty of sweet chilli rice crackers in the past. I hadn't had any for ages, and so I asked Cinabar to find me some out. The rice crackers I've had in the past have been various sizes with varying chilli heat. With so much variety, it's difficult to know what to expect beyond.
On opening the packet of these Mr Filbert's Sweet Chilli Rice Crackers, there was a chilli aroma from the reddish rice crackers inside. At around a centimetre in diameter, there was a multitude of these little crackers inside the bag.
On first very crunchy taste, I noticed the almost honey sweet glaze on top, followed by spicy paprika, and a mild to medium chilli heat. Very moreish indeed, I had these on the side of a beef and noodle TV dinner, instead of the ubiquitous prawn crackers. They fitted in rather well with their sweetness and spiciness. I'd definitely have them again, as their paprika and mild chilli heat didn't distract from the flavours in my main meal.
