That’s when I spotted these Baileys Salted Caramel Biscuits. I remembered seeing the original version last year, without the salted caramel, but never got around to trying them.
At home, I opened the box for an afternoon coffee treat. The biscuits were smaller than I’d hoped and didn’t look especially tempting – the chocolate had a dull brown finish rather than a glossy shine. Breaking one open changed everything. A gorgeous aroma of chocolate, Baileys, and caramel filled the air, instantly inviting.
The flavour lived up to the promise. The biscuit had a satisfying crunch, the soft filling gave contrast, and the chocolate came through strongly. The Baileys was distinct but balanced, while the salted caramel added a sweet, moreish finish that kept me reaching for another. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for more new biscuit launches this autumn – if they’re as good as these, we’re in for a treat.
