This year, there’s no competition involving prizes hidden under the wrapper, which is a relief for me. In previous years, there was nothing worse than discovering a box of Creme Eggs in a shop or supermarket where someone had peeled back the foil to check for a winning egg, leaving them all half-open and unappealing.
I’ve always loved Creme Eggs, though I wish they weren’t limited to a season. Still, part of me wasn’t quite ready for Easter chocolates just yet. However, I couldn’t resist picking up a couple of these. Setting aside the After Eights and other Christmas classics, I decided to try the White Chocolate Creme Egg.
It was absolutely gorgeous! Regular readers will know I have a serious sweet tooth, and the combination of the deliciously sweet filling with the creamy white chocolate was perfect for me. Perhaps Easter chocolates in December aren’t so bad after all!
