Ah, 2025, the Year of the Snake, which could mean prosperity for a Rabbit like me. Fingers crossed anyway, because I could do with some of that.
I hope you had a good party or quiet New Years, depending on what you wanted. I decided to celebrate with a quiet night of music on the box with a beer. I watched Jools Holland's Hootenanny, and then Cold Play at Glastonbury.
I popped open this 5.4% in volume Everybody Good Time, produced in collaboration with Thornbridge Brewery and Bundobust Indian street food. This hazy India Pale Ale was made with Galaxy and Simcoe hop varieties, for a citrus and peach smell, with floral and apricot flavours.
On opening Everybody Good Time did have a fruity citrus and peach aroma, with sweet pale malts behind it. On taste this hazy IPA had a cuttingly crisp floral bitterness to begin with, and then citrus apricot orange followed by sweet pale malts into the aftertaste. Very nice indeed. Perfect to have a good time party over New Years.
I hope Everyone has a wonderful year ahead. Cheers!
