White-Gourd Drink (Vanguard Foods, Birmingham) [By @SpectreUK]

The closest I have ever been to a gourd in the past is when I have picked and sold them to farmers in Skyrm on my Xbox 360. Until now I had no idea what they tasted like, let alone what a "white-gourd" would taste like. My only knowledge of gourds is that they are a type of melon, which made me think that this White-Gourd Drink would have a melon taste to it, probably a little sweeter and most likely nonalcoholic. I say nonalcoholic because a guy I knew at college dug a hole in a huge water melon, added a funnel and proceeded to soak in a litre bottle of vodka in it. He did say that it had been the best melon he'd ever eaten! Anyway, I digress. Cinabar had already dubbed this the "weird green drink" before I opened the can. In fact the drink was light tea coloured. It didn't smell of melon at all. In fact it smelt like a biscuity cheesecake. Which didn't make any sense in my head. Of course it initially tasted just like the digestive biscuit base of a cheesecake also, with a sweet creamy finish which reminded me of mascarpone. Crazily this healthy fruit drink tasted like a liquid naughty pudding to me! It was very tasty indeed, not weird or green at all, and I'd definitely have it again!

Information on the can;
