For Goodness Shakes Cafe Latte (Waitrose) [By @SpectreUK]

I realized on wondering around the nearby supermarket that I hadn’t had a good milkshake for ages. I had a quick scan over the shelves in the fridge section looking for ones I hadn’t tried before. I noticed this new Cafe Latte flavoured protein nutrition milkshake from For Goodness Shakes, which is made with ultra heat-treated (UHT) milk. I’m not a fan of UHT, but I thought I’d give it a punt anyway. Looking at the calories and its fat free nature, this seemed like a healthy treat. After a good shake the fairly frothy off-white liquid had a predominantly UHT taste with a decent hit from the coffee. Still not a fan of UHT this drink had that creamy yet slightly 'off' taste, which distracted a little from the coffee flavour. It was an okay pick-me-up after an hour at the gym, but you really have to like UHT to appreciate the drink as a whole. Did I mention that I’m not a fan…?

Information on the bottle:

315ml bottle has 125 calories, is fat free, and has 20g of protein, 0.3g of salt and 9.3g of sugar. For ingredients see photograph.
