Frugo Ultra Green (Tesco) [By @SpectreUK]

If you fancy a detox after all the Christmas and New Year celebration excess, then this drink may be for you. Produced in Poland this Frugo suggests to “Follow your colour”, although my favourite colour is blue, I must have been having a 'green day' when I picked up this bottle. However looking at the bottle now the concoction of fruits included in the ingredients, which are; apple, lemon, passionfruit, kiwi, lolo fruit (never heard of it!), looks a little like Kermit the Frog has had an accident with a blender! On opening the bottle of this non-carbonated pasteurised ‘ultra’ fruit juice drink there was a decent smell of passionfruit and kiwi. Fortunately the open bottle didn’t start singing "It's Not Easy Bein' Green" at me before I tasted the drink. The sweet mixture of fruits danced around my tastebuds like a cheerful Muppet dancehall scene from the series in the Eighties. Although it was difficult to pick out individual flavours as each fruit complemented each other well, there was definite strength from the passionfruit and kiwi in the overall flavour. I found this drink very refreshing, so try not to be put off by the colour, as “it’s not easy…"
