Cadbury Dairy Milk Big Taste Toffee Wholenut Bar (Sainsburys) [By @Cinabar]

I admit to having a weakness for chocolate and nuts, the combination of which is always a first choice of mine. Cadbury has launched a new range of Big Taste bars, one of which is this Cadbury Dairy Milk Big Taste Toffee Wholenut Bar, which jumped out at me somewhat.
This new “big” bar from Cadbury, is genuinely big and clearly made for sharing. Or keeping it all to yourself, and eating a portion over a number of nights… The chocolate bar isn’t just large in length, the chocolate pieces are very thick and chunky so it packs a lot of chocolate and goodies in.
I unwrapped the bar and found the aroma to be outstanding. The fabulous scent of rich sugary toffee filled the air, closely followed by a rich chocolate scent. It was definitely a wow before I even began.

Next I made an attempt to break some of the chocolate off. I found it difficult to break, as it didn’t break easily along the lines. I used strength to snap it and put my thumb on the Cadbury dome, which burst with the pressure revealing the nut and adding toffee sauce on to my fingers! Also it is a big bar, but the wrapper didn’t stick back together very well, I ended up getting a sandwich bag to keep the chocolate I didn’t eat fresh.
I had no complaints about the chocolate though. The toffee aroma followed through to the taste, and the sugary rich goodness, mixed well with the chocolate and crunchy nuts. The bar was pure soothing heaven. I loved the mix of textures, with the crunch from the nut, soft filling and firm chocolate. Mostly thought it was all about that rich aromatic toffee flavour and how it wrapped itself around the soft toffee creme, nuts and Cadbury chocolate. Pure yum.

Yeah, these basically look like the giant Milka bars you find at airports... still, nice to have something different on the shelves!

Or cheap in B&M stores.

I'm pretty confident this was made with Dairy Milk - the Dairy Milk Triple Choc Sensation bar I review tomorrow though I was less sure about... it was nice though.
