On opening the packet I was greeted with the familiar reddish colour of Doritos Chilli Heatwave crisps inside. On smell there was a chilli spiciness followed by an unfamiliar saltiness. On taste there was a tangy chilli flavour to begin with, followed by a slightly sweet onion taste and then spicy saltiness with a light chilli burn into the aftertaste.
These Walkers Doritos Chilli Heatwave Flavour Crisps seemed like a flavour all of their own. I didn't think they tasted like the original Doritos Chilli Heatwave, but they were very nice. Out of the three brand potato crisp flavour combos so far, I prefer the Monster Munch Pickled Onion flavour the most. They'd be the ones I'd definitely buy again.
