I am aware that this is in the remit of Christmas chocolates but as someone who has recently rediscovered white chocolate I couldn't resist trying the stocking filler early. Inside the wrapper is a pretty square of white chocolate in the design of a cute wrapped Xmas parcel.
The white chocolate is actually bubbly inside so feels quite soft when you bite in. I have to confess to rather liking aerated chocolate, it just has a lovely texture and feel when it melts in the mouth. The flavour is very indulgent, creamy and sweet, with loads of cocoa butter and it felt very silky and sumptuous. I like how the bubbles make the chocolate melt and I was rather impressed by the quality of the white chocolate. The small square size makes this perfect for a sweet treat in the afternoon or as an extra little gift for someone with a Christmas card... I can’t help thinking the Christmas goodies will be filtering in from now on. ;-)
