I saw this strange bar of chocolate mentioned on Twitter and new I had to track it down. It is a bar of chocolate filled with ready salted crisps. It is inspired by those moment when you sit on the sofa with chocolate and a bowl of crisps and you inevitably end up eating the two together.The Bar of Crisps Ready Salted Chocolate is made by Chocolate Moments a brand that has won awards, they normally make branded corporate chocolates, as well as bars and brownies too.

The bar arrived neatly packaged and looked super smart in its shiny wrapper. I opened it up and loved the diamond effect on the surface of the chocolate it was very pretty. The bar is a little fragile and difficult to break, this is because it is absolutely loaded to the brim with ready salted crisps inside. This surprised me, I had been expected a few crumbs mixed in, this is a no holds barred, heavy loaded bar. Oh my.

I broken a piece off and it is crumbly. I gave it a try and here is where the magic hit, it worked. The chocolate is sweet, rich with cocoa and super smooth. The ready salted crisps add lovely fun crunchy crispy texture and the salt with the chocolate is a dream. The potato works too, it shouldn’t, I didn’t think it would, but it did. Sweet and salty savoury all at once. We split the bar between us and finished it one sitting, and we were left wanting more. I love it when a novelty item manages to work so well.. This Bar of Crisps Ready Salted Chocolate is up there in my top bars you need to try.
