Cadbury Crunchy Melts Oreo Creme (Ocado) By @Cinabar

Do Oreos need reimagining? I think they do their thing pretty well. Here we have Cadbury Crunchy Melts Oreo Creme Cookies. It looks like it has an Oreo flavour shell, with an Oreo cream filling and some chocolate chips decorating the top.

These biscuits are crumbly, there were crumbs everywhere when I took one out of the packet. Clearly, the biscuits are much softer than proper Oreos. There were also only six cookies in the pack, which was disappointing, always the case when there is extra plastic to make the pack look bigger than it is.

I gave one a try and yes, biting in caused a cascade of crumbs. I liked the flavour, it was rich and dark like an Oreo, and the creme filling was sweet and super soft. The chocolate chips seemed to roll everywhere too, but they were a nice edition. I have to say I enjoyed these biscuits. They were very much Oreo in flavour but over all a softer biscuit. I’m not sure I’ll be switching from Oreos in the future, but they were nice to try.
