Salvation Raspberry & Chocolate Stout (@WeeBeerShop @AbbeydaleBeers) By @SpectreUK

Salvation Raspberry & Chocolate Stout Abbeydale Beers

I do love a good stout for washing down my steak and chips. This Salvation Raspberry & Chocolate Stout by Abbeydale Brewery might not be right for that though. With cacao nibs and raspberries added in the brewing of this 4.8% in volume stout, this sounds more like a delicious pudding beer to me. However I did have steak and chips for dinner, so with that taste still lingering on my palate, here I go.

There was a strong aroma of chocolate malt on opening the can with a fruitiness right behind it. Salvation Raspberry & Chocolate Stout was almost black in colour with a deep frothy head. On taste the milk and creamy chocolate were instantly like velvet to my tastebuds, coupled with the raspberry fruitiness that tickled my senses straight afterwards, and followed by a little bitterness from the herbal hops was a delight. Then this Salvation just kept on giving with oodles of smooth chocolate malt into the aftertaste. Gosh this is a gorgeous smooth, creamy and fruity stout. Perfect with my chocolatey pudding.
