Kit Kat Bites - Chocolate Caramel (Tesco) By @Cinabar

Anyone remember Pop Chocs? They are a Kit Kat product that comes out every few years, but is usually available abroad somewhere and therefore often found in import shops. They are little cubes of Kit Kat and wafer and what I assumed these were, until I opened up the pack. These Kit Kat Bites Chocolate Caramel are actually quite cute and look like little mini lego bricks of Kit Kat. I have to say the aroma from the bag of these chocolates was gorgeous, it smelled like chocolate and rich toffee.

After I decided that I should stop pretending to be a giant, I realised I should actually try taste testing some. The flavour is really impressive from these Kit Kat Bites. There is lots of rich caramel flavour and plenty of chocolate. The texture is lovely as it still has a crunch. There aren’t any layers of wafer but there are tiny balls of crunchy wheat biscuits mixed in that do the job. They are moreish and I just kept munching. They are only small, right, so that’s okay. Also, it has to be said there is a lot of baking potential here. Just imagine these decorating cupcakes or even on top of hot chocolate. I think I may need another bag.
