Mallow & Marsh Orange Marshmallows (Tesco) By @cinabar

We are watching classic Halloween films in the run up to the main event, so my mission was to find something to snack on while watching Ghostbusters. There was one very obvious snack I knew I needed to buy for this, marshmallows! Obviously I still wanted to try something a bit different and I found these gourmet ones on the shelf in the supermarket, Mallow & Marsh Orange Marshmallows. They are also coated in milk chocolate which sounded perfect for an October evening in, though I think they might be new for the Christmas stocking filler market. Oh well.

Inside the bag are large pieces of marshmallow flavoured with orange and thickly coated in milk chocolate. The texture was lovely the chocolate is thick and cracks giving way to the firm foamy filling. The marshmallow was sweet and tasty but the orange was only mild, I think I would have liked this to be a little stronger but I like strong orange and chocolate flavours. Even with a delicate taste they were still very enjoyable and a fitting food for watching Mr Stay Puft battle with the Ghostbusters.

Next week we will be watching Zombieland so again another obvious snack will be on hand, I need to find myself some Twinkies for that one. Normal people pair snacks and films right?
