McVitie’s Blissfuls Belgian Milk Chocolate & Caramel Biscuits

Well I must have done something right for a change. Cinabar has treated me to these McVitie's Blissfuls Belgian Milk Chocolate & Caramel Biscuits. That is assuming they will be good of course. They certainly sound good and the packet is big enough to sustain my greedy chocolate biscuit cravings for a couple of evenings after dinner.

So looking at the packet before opening the biscuits they are supposed to be crunchy and golden, with a cream filling of Belgian milk chocolate and caramel. Calorie counting diets can be a bind, but I try to treat myself every day. It states on the back of the packet, "Too good not to share". If that's the case, I'm definitely not sharing them. In fact it's difficult not to tear open the bag and dive in immediately. So without further ado, I'm going to do just that.

As you can see from the photograph on opening the bag there were sixteen patterned golden baked biscuits with a creamy Belgian milk chocolate and caramel centre. These McVitie's Blissfuls Belgian Milk Chocolate & Caramel Biscuits have a good crunch to them. They are nice thick chunky biscuits, and the soft creamy chocolatey and caramel filling really was a treat to my tastebuds on reaching it after that initial crunch. These biscuits were easy and moreish enough to pop one after another into my mouth and lose track of time or the amount of biscuits I'd eaten. A very tasty treat indeed.

Information on the packet; The 228g bag of 16 biscuits contains 72 calories per biscuit, with 3.6g of fat, 4.8g of sugar, and 0.09g of salt. Please see photograph for the ingredients.
