The tub reminds me of a butter tub, with its shallow plastic and clip-on lid. I found the spread to be smooth and softer than Nutella, but a long way off being runny. It went smoothly onto the bread. I then had the dilemma of where to store the spread, in the cupboard or the fridge? I went with the fridge; please don’t judge me. We are heading into summer, and because of the sunshine through the conservatory, our kitchen gets quite warm. I put ketchup in the fridge too! I didn’t layer it too thick. I gave it a try, and the spread was super yummy. There was lots of rich cocoa and loads of hazelnut taste too. The combination was well balanced, and it transformed my piece of bread into a chocolate treat. I thought the flavours were lovely, and this Nutini Chocolino: Cocoa and Hazelnut Spread is definitely one I’ll buy again. I will also try and see what some of their other products are like, because they, like me, do seem to be nuts about the chocolate-hazelnut combination.
