No monster's paws present on opening the bag, the usual Walkers potato crisps were there instead. I must admit, I was a little disappointed at that. I didn't mind the Wotsits so much, as I don't eat them very often, but this seems a little like sacrilege. It's a bit like when a famous singer goes back to their previous work and makes a hash of a brilliant song they sung, but with slightly different words and meaning.
On smell these Walkers Monster Munch Pickled Onion potato crisps smelt just like the original Monster Munch flavour. They were certainly strong. Unlike the Cheesy Wotsits potato crisps, these Walkers Monster Munch Pickled Onion potato crisps didn't particularly smell of potatoes, they smelt of super pickled onion flavour. On taste they packed a massive punch of pickled onion to start with, and that punch-up of pickled onion ran straight through to the aftertaste. Wow, Walkers might just be on to something with this brand flavour potato crisps mash-up. Yum.
