Chai Right Beer (The Wee Beer Shop) By @SpectreUK

I love a pudding beer and I also love spicy beers too. I have Chicken Chow Mein tonight with Prawn Crackers, so a spicy beer will wash that down a treat. I also fancy chocolate tonight for my dessert so this Chai Right, Chai Latte Stout by Overtone Brewing Company, should complement some Cadbury's Dairy Milk Chocolate.

Magnum hops were used in the brewing of this 9% in volume Chai Right. Described as a 'winter warmer', I'm counting on the sweetness from the additional milk sugar and chai spice conditioning, to both sooth my old bones and warm me up against the cold wet windy weather outside.

On opening the can there was a spicy aroma from the thick almost black liquid inside. There was also a sweet malty milkiness to that spicy smell. On taste there was plenty of spice to tantalise my tastebuds, some creaminess and sweet roasted chocolate malt, and a little bitterness from the herbal hops. There was definitely warmth in those spices, and Chai Right certainly lived up to it's warming description. This Chai Latte Stout was a lovely liquid pudding beer and went perfectly well with a couple of Cadbury's Dairy Milk chocolate bars. Yum.
