Katsu Curry Crinkle Cut Crisps (Co-Op) By @Cinabar

I did venture on a trip to our local Co-Op at the weekend, I went for essential items and wasn’t actually looking for reviews for Foodstuff Finds. It isn’t worth risking the shops specifically for snacks, but while I was there picking up bread and bananas I did manage to find these Katsu Curry Crinkle Cut Crisps. The Katsu Curry from Wagamama is iconic and is a favourite of mine, I’ve even seen morning TV trying to recreate the recipe for the at home market, I didn’t try that. I might have a go at Ikea meatballs later in the week, but I digress.
These Katsu Curry Crinkle Cut Crisps smelt amazing, and I couldn’t wait to try them. The flavour is quite strong, the crinkles hold more seasoning. There is plenty of curry flavour, not hot in spice so much but very tasty. The flavour finished with a nice creamy taste which is similar to the proper curry. These were very easy to eat and very enjoyable. If you are popping to the shops for essentials it is worth keeping your eye for a few new treats too, there are the odd things still coming out.
