Mackies Sticky Toffee Pudding Popcorn (Morrisons) By @Cinabar

Christmas is the season where I watch the most TV and films. I have time off work, there are Christmas films on, and I’m getting my money’s worth from Netflix too for good measure. This means I also need popcorn, and the very best thing is finding an interesting variety. This bag of Mackies Sticky Toffee Pudding Popcorn caught my eye in Morrisons and I couldn’t resist picking up a bag, who doesn’t like Sticky Toffee Pudding after all.

I opened up the bag and drank in the aroma, it was sweet and rich like brown sugar and an absolute delight to inhale. Eventually I poured some out to actually try. The popcorn are very generously coated in a crunchy glaze, which adds to the fun of the texture of popcorn. The flavour was a delight, admittedly more on the side of toffee then pudding, but there is a cooked almost smokey edge to the flavour which I think is trying to represent the dessert. Either way it is some seriously yummy flavour wrapped around this popcorn. All I need now is to finally get to the end of Money Heist and work out if those robbers make it out, at least the snacks are ready whatever happens.
