Having tried the very strange Ranch Raccoon flavour crisps from Walkers new range yesterday, I though I'd go for something that sounded a bit more palatable today. These new Sizzling Steak Fajita crisps sounded like a better shot, and a genuinely interesting new flavour. Different, but something that might just translate well to the crisp word.
I opened the bag and the aroma was lovely, spicy like a chilli con carne, with a hint of veggies and meat. The flavour of these crisps works remarkably well too, it is complex but well put together. The most dominant taste is fresh peppers, you can almost imagine the strips of fresh red and green pepper on a sizzling plate in a Mexican restaurant. The next tastes are the beef flavour, the spices, onion and a hint of smokiness. They are just so moreish! The spice does taste Mexican in its nature, but the heat from the chilli is gentle, just giving a bit of warmth without overpowering any of the other goodies. The onion adds to the effect nicely, and I couldn’t imagine a better recreation of Steak Fajita as a crisp seasoning, they just needed to make the bag sizzle! :-D
I preferred these by far to the Raccoon crisps, but I think that is par for the course. These tasty spicy and fresh tasting Sizzling Steak Fajita Crisps could well end up being my favourite. Sure I have another four flavours to taste test, but these have just set the standard very high.

Are these in shops yet? I really enjoyed the last ones & i want these!
Yes, they have been rolling out to the shops since 1st August. Let me know what you think when you try them. :-)
Saw these in a 6 pack in Sainsburys today and bought some. I've just now had a packet and didn't like the taste much, makes me feel like vomiting lol.
Probably because I've never had a Fajita before today so the taste is new lol
I bought a 6 pack of Chip Shop Chicken Curry, Pulled Pork in sticky bbq sauce, and these Sizzling Steak Fajita. I wasn't expecting much based on the previous Walkers user flavours which really weren't that nice. BUT I gotta admit all 3 of these were pretty damn tasty. I liked them all.
You need to get yourself down to a Mexican restaurant pronto - they are spot on in flavour! :-D
I do think this current run of Do Us A Flavour's have been really nice.
