Cadbury Dairy Milk Winter Mint Crisp Edition (Tesco) By @Cinabar

This bar, I think, was made with the intention of being a stocking filler. I say this because I adore mint, but when I saw the size of the bar I actually felt guilty about buying it just for my own snacking, it is a huge slap of chocolate. I still did buy it, obviously, but I think I will have to share it watching Netflix and eat it over a few days. I love mint, and was so pleased to see it in a Dairy Milk bar.

 

The chocolate is called Cadbury Dairy Milk Winter Mint Crisp Edition and it is flavoured with peppermint and the chocolate is scattered with honeycomb bits to give it the crunch element. I broke a strip of the chocolate off and could see there were a fair few bits of honeycomb inside and I was pleased with the minty fragrance too. The chocolate is remarkably well balanced, the mint is strong, but the the flavour of the chocolate, sweet cream Dairy Milk, works with it. The chocolate is mellow and the mint is fresh and it is such a good combination. The honeycomb is sweet but mostly it adds they texture, and I do love a crunchy bar so I was in heaven. Yes, maybe it is a bit of an over indulgent sized bar but one thing is for sure I am going to enjoy every piece in it.
