These are not chocolate biscuits. That may seem obvious to you, but when you are in a rush from the train on your way home and you just nip into M&S to check for any Coronation-themed goodies for the bank holiday weekend, you don’t get much time to be thorough. I put the blue box into the basket, assuming they were biscuits, paid quickly, and rushed off to get home on time.

Turns out the King of Everything Milk Chocolate Crowns are just milk chocolate crowns; they are a little too thick to be cake decorations, but they aren't really more exciting than that. Ok, that's not fair, they are nicely shaped with lots of nice detail. The Belgian chocolate is good quality, smooth and sweet Belgian chocolate, they were very tasty. My disappointment comes from my own mistake and the fact that these chocolates definitely won’t dunk in my coffee.

One of the things I did love was the packaging. There was no inner plastic tray, just this cool, layered paper that easily recycles, which was a lovely touch.

I hope everyone has had a good bank holiday weekend.
